Cyclopic are developing a cutting-edge warehouse Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR).

This innovative design features adjustable height for each wheel, allowing for dynamic alteration of the AMR’s center of gravity even when carrying a load. Cyclopic’s AMR can achieve greater speed and agility by lowering the centre of gravity, significantly outperforming conventional warehouse AMRs in mobility and stability.

At Cyclopic we aim to overcome the challenges using our novel drive system offering drive, steer and lift all in one platform together with advanced pitch and roll.

  • Cyclopic’s Patented AMR features an electric drive system that provides superior full precision height adjustment (Advanced Pitch & Roll) and autonomous levelling capabilities using advanced AI systems.

  • The load balancing capabilities of the platform are augmented by AI sensors that constantly monitor its operation. This enhancement will maximise core fulfilment centre technologies, significantly boosting productivity and efficiency.

  • Net Zero initiative: autonomous vehicles - Cyclopic offer a solution that is scalable with unique benefits.

Cyclopic have recently been awarded an Innovate UK Bridge AI grant to develop a digital twin and autonomous prototype in collaboration with University of Surrey.

$1.5 Trillion market anticipated to reach by 2027.
These technologies not only enhance operational efficiency but also improve accuracy, reduce labour costs, and enable faster order fulfilment.

The logistics and warehousing sectors are experiencing a transformative shift, largely driven by the integration of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), are playing a pivotal role in automating various aspects of warehouse operations, such as picking, sorting, and packing.
AI-powered systems are enhancing these robotic functions by providing real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and machine learning capabilities. This synergy between robotics and AI enables warehouses to operate with greater precision, speed, and flexibility.

By integrating AI into the Cyclopic AMR, algorithms have been developed that improves platform balance, monitoring the load to increase speed, and enhances stability. Additionally, the AI system identifies ideal loading spots on the graphical display for operator convenience. Cyclopic identified a critical
business need and technological challenge: improving the stability of AMRs in warehouse environments.

Market Potential and Growth

The AMR market is projected to reach $22.15 billion by 2030, growing at an impressive
CAGR of 34.3% from 2022 to 2030. AMRs have
become essential in warehouse automation
due to advancements in sensor technology,
machine learning, and artificial intelligence,
all of which enhance their precision, reliability,
and cost-effectiveness. Key growth sectors
include e-commerce and retail, material
handling in manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare (for cleaning and disinfection),
as well as security and inspection. The European AMR market is also expected to experience significant growth, with a projected CAGR of 20.8%, reaching approximately £4.1 billion by 2030.

Strategic Market Positioning

The UK represents one of the most favourable markets for AMRs in Europe, offering a conducive environment for investment and generating significant returns for SMEs. Amazon, a major investor in UK warehouse automation, currently utilizes single-point lift AMRs, which fall short in terms of stability and versatility compared to Cyclopic's advanced system. Introducing Cyclopic’s innovative solution will not only enhance the UK’s competitiveness in this rapidly evolving sector but will also position Cyclopic as a key player in the transformation of warehouse automation technologies.

Target Market: Industrial AMR Vehicle
Manufacturers.

As the landscape of automated warehouses
rapidly adapts to the Net Zero mandate,
significant opportunities are emerging for
Cyclopic to strategically enter both domestic
and international markets. The growing
demand for energy-efficient, autonomous
solutions in warehouse automation presents
a timely opening for Cyclopic to leverage its
cutting-edge technologies.
